The NTA 2020 Safety Summit

Seward Motor Freight, Inc. located in Seward, Nebraska, is celebrating Joan Tanderup 50th year of ownership. Joan Tanderup who currently presides as President/CEO and her late husband Wayne grew the trucking company originally and through the acquisition of smaller freight companies in the Midwest. Seward Motor Freight, Inc. has continuously received awards from the Nebraska Trucking Association (NTA) for their commitment to safety through outstanding programs for their employees.

Founded in 1940, NTA is dedicated to advancing the interests of the bus and commercial trucking industry in Nebraska. Through its Safety Management Council, NTA will be holding its 2020 Safety Summit at the Metropolitan Community College in Omaha on February 13-14, 2020. For the Love of Safety is this year's theme, and it's expected to attract noted business leaders, fleet owners, maintenance managers, and safety managers.
Speakers from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, the Nebraska Highway Patrol, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will provide attendees with the latest developments in their respective areas of responsibilities.
